Add Or Subtract Days From A Date
Add Or Subtract Days From A Date: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers start date (date). Stub page while the tool and its worked example are prepared.
Add Or Subtract Days From A Date is a planned calculator in the dates and time section of Super Calculator, covering dates and time.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: start date (date), years (n), months (n), weeks (n), days (n) and direction (add/subtract).
Outputs: result date (date), weekday (name) and day of year (n).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Day-number arithmetic: JDN(start) plus or minus N days, converted back to a civil date. Month and year addition clamps the day of month to the last valid day of the target month, which is the documented ambiguity (January 31 plus one month).
