Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: The original model for public manufacturers weights five ratios of working capital, retained earnings, EBIT, market value of equity to liabilities and asset turnover. Separate coefficient sets exist for private firms and for non-manufacturers, and applying the public model to a private company is invalid.
