Angle Converter (Degrees, Radians, Gradians, DMS)

Angle Converter (Degrees, Radians, Gradians, DMS): a planned Super Calculator tool. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.

Angle Converter (Degrees, Radians, Gradians, DMS) is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering geometry and trigonometry.

What this calculator will compute

Inputs: angle value, source unit, target unit and decimal places.

Outputs: converted angle, all units simultaneously, DMS decomposition and normalized angle within one revolution.

Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: radians = degrees * pi/180; gradians = degrees * 10/9; mils (NATO) = degrees * 160/9. Degrees-minutes-seconds decomposes the fractional degree as 60 minutes and 3600 seconds, which is the form surveying and astronomy use.
