Binomial Probability Calculator
Binomial Probability: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers trials n and success probability p. Stub page while the tool and its worked example are prepared.
Binomial Probability Calculator is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering statistics and probability.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: trials n, success probability p, successes k, comparison (equal, at most, at least and between).
Outputs: exact probability, cumulative probability, mean, variance, standard deviation and distribution table.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: P(X = k) = C(n, k) p^k (1-p)^(n-k). Cumulative probabilities sum the mass function; compute binomial coefficients in log space to avoid overflow at large n. Mean = np, variance = np(1-p).
