What this calculator will compute
Inputs: beginning value (currency), ending value (currency) and number of years.
Outputs: CAGR (%) and total growth (%).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: CAGR = (ending value / beginning value)^(1/n) - 1 where n is years. It is a geometric mean and therefore ignores the path, which is exactly why it must be presented next to the maximum drawdown or the volatility of the same series.
