Impermanent Loss Calculator

Impermanent Loss: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers initial prices of both assets (currency) and current prices (currency). Stub page. Not published yet.

Impermanent Loss Calculator is a planned calculator in the finance section of Super Calculator, covering crypto.

What this calculator will compute

Inputs: initial prices of both assets (currency), current prices (currency), deposit value (currency), fee income earned (currency) and pool weighting.

Outputs: impermanent loss (%), value if held (currency), value in pool (currency), net position after fees (currency) and break even fee income (currency).

Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: For a constant product pool, loss relative to holding equals 2 sqrt(p)/(1+p) - 1 where p is the price ratio change of one asset against the other. The loss is symmetric in the direction of divergence and becomes permanent on withdrawal.
