Percentage Yield Calculator
Percentage Yield: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers actual yield and theoretical yield or reactant masses and equation. Stub page. Not published yet.
Percentage Yield Calculator is a planned calculator in the science section of Super Calculator, covering chemistry.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: actual yield, theoretical yield or reactant masses and equation and purity.
Outputs: percentage yield, theoretical yield, actual yield required for a target and atom economy.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Percentage yield = 100 times actual yield divided by theoretical yield, both in the same units. Theoretical yield comes from the limiting reagent through the stoichiometric ratio. Yields above 100% indicate impure or wet product rather than an impossible reaction.
