Circle Calculator (Area, Circumference, Diameter)

Circle Calculator (Area, Circumference, Diameter): a planned Super Calculator tool. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.

Circle Calculator (Area, Circumference, Diameter) is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering geometry and trigonometry.

What this calculator will compute

Inputs: radius, diameter, circumference or area (any one) and central angle for sector outputs.

Outputs: radius, diameter, circumference, area, sector area, arc length, chord length and segment area.

Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Area = pi r^2, circumference = 2 pi r, diameter = 2r. Any one input determines the rest. Sector area = (theta/2) r^2 with theta in radians; arc length = r theta; chord length = 2r sin(theta/2).
