Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: d = (xbar1 - xbar2) / sp with pooled sp = sqrt(((n1-1)s1^2 + (n2-1)s2^2)/(n1+n2-2)). Hedges’ g applies the small-sample correction factor J = 1 - 3/(4(n1+n2)-9). Glass’s delta divides by the control standard deviation only.
