Cohort Retention Curve Calculator
Cohort Retention Curve: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers cohort sizes by period and active counts per cohort per period. Stub page. Not published yet.
Cohort Retention Curve Calculator is a planned calculator in the business section of Super Calculator, covering SaaS and subscription metrics.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: cohort sizes by period, active counts per cohort per period and fit type (exponential/power).
Outputs: retention triangle, fitted curve parameters and projected steady-state retention (%).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Builds a triangle of retention rates R(c,t) = active users from cohort c at period t / cohort c size, then fits a decay curve. Power-law fits (R = a * t^-b) generally describe consumer retention better than exponential fits, which assume constant churn.
