What this calculator will compute
Inputs: color value in any supported notation, target notation, color profile and reference white and alpha.
Outputs: all notations, contrast ratio against another color, WCAG accessibility verdict, complementary and analogous colors, nearest named color and perceptual difference delta E.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: HEX to RGB is a base 16 parse. RGB to HSL derives hue from the max and min channel positions. RGB to CMYK is device dependent and the naive formula ignores color profiles. RGB to LAB requires linearizing sRGB, converting to XYZ under a reference white, then applying the CIELAB transform.
