Conditional Probability Calculator
Conditional Probability: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers P(A) and P(B). Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.
Conditional Probability Calculator is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering statistics and probability.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: P(A), P(B), P(A and B) or P(B, A) and relationship assumption.
Outputs: P(A, B), P(B, A), P(A or B), independence check and Venn breakdown.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: P(A|B) = P(A and B) / P(B), with the multiplication rule P(A and B) = P(A)P(B|A) and independence when P(A|B) = P(A). Mutually exclusive events give P(A and B) = 0, which is not the same as independence.
