What this calculator will compute
Inputs: net income or operating income, interest, tax, depreciation, amortization and adjustment items (all currency).
Outputs: EBITDA (currency), adjusted EBITDA, EBITDA margin (%) and adjustment schedule.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: EBITDA = net income + interest + tax + depreciation + amortization, or equivalently operating income + depreciation + amortization. Adjusted EBITDA adds back items the preparer designates as non-recurring, and that designation is not governed by any accounting standard.
