Force Calculator (Newton's Second Law)

Force Calculator (Newton's Second Law): a planned Super Calculator tool. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet. Scope is.

Force Calculator (Newton’s Second Law) is a planned calculator in the science section of Super Calculator, covering physics: mechanics.

What this calculator will compute

Inputs: mass, acceleration, force, angle of application and unit system.

Outputs: force, mass, acceleration, weight, component resolution and net force vector.

Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: F = ma, with force in newtons for mass in kilograms and acceleration in m/s^2. Weight is the special case W = mg. Net force is the vector sum of applied forces, and components must be resolved before summing.
