Outputs: usable capacity (kWh), annual saving (currency), payback (yr), lifetime throughput (kWh) and cost per cycled kWh (currency).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Usable capacity equals nominal capacity times depth of discharge times round-trip efficiency. Annual saving equals cycled energy times the spread between the import tariff and the export rate, and payback equals installed cost divided by that saving, capped by the warranted cycle count.
