Home Loan Eligibility Calculator (India) is a planned calculator in the real estate section of Super Calculator, covering country mortgage regimes.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: net monthly income (INR), existing EMIs (INR), age, tenure (years), rate (%), property value (INR) and co-applicant income (INR).
Outputs: maximum EMI (INR), eligible loan amount (INR), LTV cap applied (%) and binding constraint.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Eligibility is derived from a fixed obligation to income ratio applied to net monthly income, converted into a maximum EMI and then into a loan amount at the offered rate and tenure, and capped separately by a loan-to-value limit that is tiered by loan size under Reserve Bank of India norms.
