Ideal Gas Law Calculator
Ideal Gas Law: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers any three of pressure. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.
Ideal Gas Law Calculator is a planned calculator in the science section of Super Calculator, covering physics: thermodynamics.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: any three of pressure, volume, moles and temperature, unit selection and gas identity for real gas correction.
Outputs: missing quantity, density, molar volume, compressibility factor and van der Waals corrected result.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: PV = nRT with R = 8.314462618 J/(mol K) exactly, following the 2019 SI redefinition. Combined gas law P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2 for a fixed amount. Real gases deviate at high pressure and low temperature, where the van der Waals equation applies.
