What this calculator will compute
Inputs: expression, variable, lower and upper bounds (optional) and numeric tolerance.
Outputs: antiderivative with constant of integration, definite value, method used, integration steps and area interpretation.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Symbolic antidifferentiation by pattern matching over standard forms, substitution, integration by parts and partial fractions, with the Risch algorithm as the complete decision procedure for elementary functions. Definite integrals evaluate the antiderivative at the bounds, or fall back to adaptive quadrature.
