What this calculator will compute
Inputs: cash flow series (currency per period), initial guess (% and optional).
Outputs: internal rate of return (%), convergence status and multiple root warning.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: The rate r solving sum of CF_t/(1+r)^t = 0, found numerically by Newton-Raphson with a bisection fallback. Multiple sign changes in the cash flow series admit multiple real roots, and the calculator must detect and report that rather than returning one silently.
