Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: For an isolated margin long, liquidation occurs where equity falls to the maintenance margin: price_liq = entry * (1 - 1/leverage + maintenance margin rate). Shorts invert the sign, and cross margin liquidation depends on the whole account balance rather than the position.
