What this calculator will compute
Inputs: credit score, LTV (%), occupancy, units, loan purpose, property type and subordinate financing (yes or no).
Outputs: total LLPA (points), approximate rate equivalent (%), cost in currency and cheapest adjacent grid cell.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Total LLPA is the sum of grid cells keyed on representative credit score by LTV band, plus adjustments for occupancy, number of units, loan purpose, product feature such as an ARM or interest-only, subordinate financing and condominium type. The total is expressed in points and converted to a rate adjustment through the lender’s rate sheet.
