Matrix Inverse Calculator
Matrix Inverse: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers square matrix and method. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.
Matrix Inverse Calculator is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering linear algebra.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: square matrix and method.
Outputs: inverse matrix, determinant, condition number, elimination steps and verification product.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Gauss-Jordan elimination on the augmented matrix [A | I], or the adjugate form A^-1 = adj(A)/det(A) for small matrices. The inverse exists only when the determinant is nonzero. Condition number estimates how far the computed inverse can be trusted.
