Prime Number Checker
Prime Number: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers integer n and range bounds for generation. Stub page while the tool and its worked example are prepared.
Prime Number Checker is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering algebra and number theory.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: integer n and range bounds for generation.
Outputs: prime or composite, smallest factor if composite, nearest primes above and below, prime count below n and prime list.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Deterministic Miller-Rabin with a fixed witness set is exact for all integers below 3.3 times 10^24. Trial division suffices for small inputs. Also generates the primes below a bound by the sieve of Eratosthenes.
