Solar Self-Consumption Rate: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers annual generation (kWh). Stub page while the tool and its worked example are prepared.
Solar Self-Consumption Rate Calculator is a planned calculator in the technology section of Super Calculator, covering crypto mining and energy.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: annual generation (kWh), annual consumption (kWh), load profile (label) and battery capacity (kWh).
Outputs: self-consumption (%), self-sufficiency (%), exported energy (kWh) and imported energy (kWh).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Self-consumption ratio equals directly consumed generation divided by total generation; self-sufficiency equals directly consumed generation divided by total household consumption. The two are routinely confused and move in opposite directions as system size grows.
