Spaced Repetition Interval Scheduler
Spaced Repetition Interval Scheduler: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers item count (n). Stub page while the tool and its worked example are prepared.
Spaced Repetition Interval Scheduler is a planned calculator in the lifestyle section of Super Calculator, covering study and grades.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: item count (n), recall quality (0 to 5), previous interval (d), ease factor (n) and target retention (%).
Outputs: next review date (date), interval (d), updated ease factor (n) and reviews per day (n).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: SM-2 scheduling: ease factor updates as EF plus (0.1 minus (5 minus q) times (0.08 plus (5 minus q) times 0.02)), floored at 1.3, and the next interval equals the previous interval times EF after the second review. Newer schedulers such as FSRS model retrievability explicitly and produce different intervals, so the algorithm choice is contested.
