Inputs: stake amount (coin), gross APR (%), commission (%), compounding frequency (n/yr), lock-up period (d) and coin price (currency).
Outputs: annual reward (coin), APY (%), value at horizon (currency) and effective yield after commission (%).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Net staking yield equals the protocol issuance rate scaled by the share of supply staked, minus the validator or delegation commission, minus expected slashing and downtime losses, compounded at the reward distribution frequency. Nominal annual percentage rate and compounded annual percentage yield differ materially at daily distribution.
