Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Solar position from the NOAA solar equations: solar declination and the equation of time give the hour angle at which the solar zenith reaches 90.833 degrees, which includes the standard 34 arcminute refraction allowance and the solar semidiameter. Undefined inside the polar circles during polar day and polar night.
