Team And Group Generator
Team And Group: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers names (list), group count (n) or group size (n) and balance attribute (n). Stub page. Not published yet.
Team And Group Generator is a planned calculator in the lifestyle section of Super Calculator, covering games and probability.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: names (list), group count (n) or group size (n), balance attribute (n) and constraints (list).
Outputs: groups (list), group sizes (n) and balance metric (n).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Partitioning n people into k groups of near-equal size requires floor and remainder distribution so group sizes differ by at most one; balanced assignment by a skill rating uses a greedy snake draft rather than random assignment.
