Time Zone Converter is a planned calculator in the dates and time section of Super Calculator, covering dates and time.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: source date and time (datetime), source zone or city (IANA id) and target zone or city (IANA id).
Outputs: target local time (datetime), UTC offset difference (h), day shift (n) and DST in effect (bool).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Convert a local wall time in IANA zone A to zone B by resolving both to UTC using the tz database offset in force at that instant, including the daylight saving rule for that date. Never use a fixed offset: the offset for a zone is a function of the instant, not of the zone alone.
