Titration Calculator
Titration: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers analyte concentration or unknown. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published.
Titration Calculator is a planned calculator in the science section of Super Calculator, covering chemistry.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: analyte concentration or unknown, titrant concentration, volumes, stoichiometric ratio, Ka or Kb and indicator.
Outputs: equivalence volume, unknown concentration, pH at equivalence, half equivalence pKa, titration curve points and indicator suitability.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: At the equivalence point, moles of acid equivalents equal moles of base equivalents: N1V1 = N2V2, or M1V1n1 = M2V2n2. The pH at the equivalence point is neutral only for a strong acid with a strong base; weak acid titrations end basic.
