Unit Circle Calculator
Unit Circle: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers angle, unit and quadrant. Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.
Unit Circle Calculator is a planned calculator in the mathematics section of Super Calculator, covering geometry and trigonometry.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: angle, unit, quadrant and coordinate pair for the inverse direction.
Outputs: coordinates, exact values in radical form, reference angle, quadrant, coterminal angles and all six trigonometric values.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: A point on the unit circle at angle theta has coordinates (cos theta, sin theta). Reference angles map any angle into the first quadrant, with signs determined by quadrant. Exact values exist for multiples of 30 and 45 degrees.
