Weibull Reliability Calculator
Weibull Reliability: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers failure times with censoring flags. Stub page while the tool and its worked example are prepared.
Weibull Reliability Calculator is a planned calculator in the engineering section of Super Calculator, covering quality and reliability engineering.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: failure times with censoring flags, or shape beta and scale eta, time of interest and fit method.
Outputs: beta, eta, reliability at t (%), B10 life, mean time to failure, hazard curve points and probability plot points.
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Reliability R(t) = exp(-(t/eta)^beta), failure rate h(t) = (beta/eta)(t/eta)^(beta-1). Shape beta below one indicates infant mortality, one indicates a constant hazard equal to the exponential case, above one indicates wear-out. Parameters fitted by median rank regression or maximum likelihood.
