Weighted Grade Calculator
Weighted Grade: a planned Super Calculator tool. Covers category names (list). Stub page: the tool, its formula and a worked example are not published yet.
Weighted Grade Calculator is a planned calculator in the lifestyle section of Super Calculator, covering study and grades.
What this calculator will compute
Inputs: category names (list), scores (%), weights (%) and completed flag (bool).
Outputs: current grade (%), letter grade (label) and weight completed (%).
Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Course grade equals the sum of category scores times category weights, divided by the sum of weights applied. Where a category is incomplete, the correct treatment is to renormalize over completed weight rather than to treat missing work as zero, and the two give very different current grades.
