Formula, recorded as scope and not yet verified against a primary source: Fillet weld capacity per unit length under AISC 360 is phi Rn = 0.75 times 0.60 FEXX times 0.707w, with a directional strength increase permitted for loads not parallel to the weld axis. Eurocode 3 Part 1-8 uses the directional or simplified method with beta_w correlation factors by steel grade.
